Customer's clear brief for this project was to facilitate their upcoming performance car with best of the technologies. We had a Design Thinking workshop with the customer where the scope was chalked out and finally we worked on a connected car application on iOS and Android to facilitate the owners of the car with their driving stats and a lot of other interesting things to engage them periodically.
The task was to understand what is causing the differences in the estimations across the globe and then try to standardize them by means of a solution. I started my work on this project with extensive user research across Microsoft Services. The final output was a web/excel based application facilitating the estimation process providing a standard way to do estimates across the world.
Listed here are my explorations of AR/VR Technologies and application ideas. I did a prototype of some of the ideas and presented them during Microsoft Hackathon. Currently I'm researching and trying my hands on the latest releases of Unity 3d, Vuforia platform & HP Aurasma to take my ideas to the next level.
This program facilitates the Microsoft field sellers with Vision Demonstrator Accelerators (VDAs) which helps the sellers show the benefits of Microsoft products/ecosystem to the end customers. This is a crucial offering when it comes to sales. I'm glad to have been contributed not just UX but a whole lot of program management to this, managing the local team delivering the VDAs and managing the new requests and making sure the deliveries are meeting their deadlines.
I led the product experience at Germin8 Solutions. I built and was the head of the design team. I reported directly to the CEO. My team owned the product experience across all the products developed at Germin8. These included the flagship product Explic8, which is known to provide world class social media analytics and insights through interactive dashboards and reports.
As a student of design, but having an engineering background, I always used to admire the artists/illustrator who can draw so easily and beautifully. I thought why can't everyone do that? How can I create a tool to facilitate the process of illustration? and so began the journey of “Creating a computer mediated environment for the act of learning to draw.”
When I was a schoolboy, one of the things I would often get reprimanded for was my tendency to draw in class. Not that I was a bad drawer (which I definitely was), but because the teachers wanted me to listen to them, not draw. As it turns out, the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Quite to the contrary: I might even have been giving them the best of my attention when I was doodling.

Mannat is a system for users of Mumbai suburban railways. Mannat helps its users in social interaction by means of information exchange. The project dealt with information needs of common man in a more accessible manner rather than computer. The design intent was to provide a solution that helps achieve a better mental state of mind by providing local information in context of the user. The project was envisaged as a part of Yahoo University Design Expo 2007.
